Viajando por la Amazonía Peruana – Ríos Ucayali y Marañón Written on May 20, 2009, by Justina.

Hace unos días realizé un viaje que va a quedar en mi memoria por siempre. Voy a contar el recorrido realizado y los medios de transporte disponibles para orientar a cualquier persona que quiera viajar por la zona.
LIMA-PUCALLPA: Tomé un bus de Transmar, semicama, costó S/80. Hay opciones mas baratas, pero recomiendo que, quienes tengan la posibilidad, paguen el semicama, ya que el viaje es muy denso, debido a que llega a subir 4600m.s.n.m. Además, todo el camino está lleno de curvas y curvas. La altura me pegó, pero el conductor me ofreció unas hojas de coca que me descomprimieron la cabeza enseguida. Me dijeron que tapones para los oídos son una buena idea, aunque no llegué a probarlos. Atención a la madrugada: el conductor me contó que esa es la hora en la que se ven los OVNIS! Toda la zona está repleta!
Antes de llegar a Pucallpa el camino es de tierra y, como la temporada de lluvia no había terminado todavía, el barro hizo que un camión se atravesara, sin dejar pasar a nadie. A las 3 horas llegaron las máquinas y pudimos salir sin mas complicaciones.

PUCALLPA-IQUITOS: Cuando llegamos a Pucallpa lo primero que hicimos fue ir al puerto, donde salen los barcos a Iquitos. Llegamos a las 14hs, y nos dijeron que salíamos en dos horas. A las 16hs nos dijeron lo mismo. A las 18hs lo mismo. Ya no preguntamos mas. Salimos a las 6am del otro día, pero nos dejaron dormir ahí, asique tuvimos hotel gratis.

HENRY- Barco de Pucallpa a Iquitos

El viaje dura 4 noches, unas horas mas, unas horas menos. Viajé en el HENRY, con una tripulación con muy buena onda. El boleto cuesta S/100. El desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena están incluídos. Necesitarán una hamaca para dormir, un TUPPER para la comida y mucha agua para todo el viaje. También recomiendo calentador de agua, para los amantes del mate/te/cafe, ya que el barco tiene electricidad varias horas por día (perfecto para cargar cualquier batería también).
Es recomendable que en las paradas, y especialmente cuando lleguen a Iquitos, tengan bien a la vista todas sus cosas. Nada va a pasarles, pero a veces se manotean alguna cosita si nadie anda mirando…
El viaje es increíble. Pero no les contaré mas, todo lo demás será novedad.

Trayecto realizado

IQUITOS: es increíble! Si quieren ver plantas medicinales, vayan al mercado de Belem, al Pasaje Paquito. Si quieren ver artesanías, visiten el pasaje del artesano frente a la plaza San Juan. Para dormir tranquilos, una habitación por S/15 viene con baño propio, cama y ventilador. Calculo que se podría conseguir alguna mas económica.

IQUITOS-NAUTA: Por razones de tiempo, decidimos tomar la combi, que tarda aproximadamente 4hs y cuesta S/10. También hay barcos que hacen este trayecto. En el camino esta QUISTOCOCHA, un precioso parque, con cantidad de animales, plantas, y unas playitas hermosas para pasar el día.

NAUTA: Ya que estaban de fiesta por su 179 aniversario, dormir en Nauta nos costó S/20. Hermoso pueblo.

NAUTA-MIRAFLORES: a la mañana nos subimos a una lancha que llega hasta… lagunillas? Realmente llega hasta donde puede. Nosotras queríamos llegar a San Martín de Tipishca, para luego entrar a la reserva PACAYA-SAMIRIA, pero no llegaba hasta ahí. Asique nos bajamos en Miraflores, donde conocimos a Lizandro, que se ofreció a llevarnos a San Martín de Tipishca al otro día. Miraflores es una pequeña comunidad, pero tienen una hostería. Dormir ahí nos costó S/10

SAN MARTÍN DE TIPISHCA: Allí conocimos a Elvio Lomas, de la organización Casa Lupuna. El se dedica a recibir gente y mostrarles la reserva, sin hacer tours ni nada parecido. Simplemente te dice que vas a necesitar, cuáles son los costos de eso, y dónde se pueden conseguir: bote, gasolina, botas de goma, refugios en la selva, guías que conocen el área. No se asusten, no es tan costoso el asunto. Una carpa es de mucha ayuda, principalmente por el mosquitero!! Los “zancudos” son asesinos! Por cuestiones de tiempo (necesitas por lo menos 4 días para entrar a la reserva) no pude entrar, pero recopilé toda la información necesaria y estará disponible en breve en internet, en página propia de CASA LUPUNA. Si hay algún interesado en el asunto, no duden en escribirme!

SAN MARTIN DE TIPISHCA – YURIMAGUAS: Para agarrar la lancha EL EDUARDO a Yurimaguas, tuvimos que volver al Río Marañón, mas exactamente a Leoncio Prado. Allí nos pasó a buscar la lancha, y nos llevó a Yurimaguas.

El trayecto nos costó S/40, cosa que nos desorientó mucho, ya que el trayecto Iquitos-Yurimaguas cuesta en realidad S/140. También aquí las comidas están incluídas. Este viaje es aún mejor que el del Río Ucayali: comunidades mas lindas, no tanta madera cortada y mejor onda entre los pasajeros. Sin embargo, el barca para mucho mas, y va contra la corriente.
Aquí ambién: NO SE OLVIDEN DE LLEVAR AGUA. Arriba del barco cobran S/2 la botella de medio litro.

YURIMAGUAS-TARAPOTO: existen diferentes opciones. Un bus llamado GLIMSE que cuesta S/15, arda como 4hs, y tienen que esperar a que se llene. También salen taxis, que llevan 4 personas y cobran S/25 por pasajero, pero tardan dos horas aproximadamente. La ruta es bien difícil, con muchos derrumbes, especialmente en época de derrumbes (lluvias).

TARAPOTO-LIMA: Viajé por MOBIL TOUR. Cama S/145 Semicama S/125. Claro que hay opciones mas baratas, pero considero que en estos viajes es conveniente pagar ese poquito de mas por nuestra seguridad y comodidad.

Bueno, creo que eso es todo. No duden en consultar cualquier otra cosa que se les ocurra!

Tipper is a great artist, though I don´t know all of his work. But this album is the best I have heard. Tipper is one of the few artist I know that invented a new thing, by using so particular sounds.

Tipper es un exelente artista, aunque admito que no conozco todo su trabajo. Pero de lo que escuché, esto es lo mejos. Tipper es uno de los pocos artistas que conozco que realmente inventó una cosa nueva.

JANULF AND THE WARMIBOA
Forgotte Gods emerged from the depths of the Quistococha lake and perform the ritual dance of the Anaconda, also known as the mother of the water. The Janulf is a mythological god with powerful muscles and hight cheek bones. The Janulf and the Warmiboa love the snakes, their children. The Warmiboa is a beautiful native half woman half Boa. She dances sensually rubbing the snake between her legs.

THE CHULLACHAQUI

Is a goblin or demon of the jungle whose name comes from a quechuan word. CHULLA means uneven and CHAQUI means feet. According to popular belif, this goblin of the jungle has the ability to transform into the form of any person. He made a fool of the jungles inhabitanns introducing himself as a family member or friend, taking them the wrong way, entering deep into the jungle. The only way to find out his identity is by looking at his feet, which he tries to hide, buy when they are discovered he flees through the jungle.

THE RITE OF AYAHUASCA

The Ayahuasca or “rope from the death” is a hallucinogenic plan, which is attributed with magical powers over singing and smoking mapacho (tabacco). The consumption of ayahuasca is accompanied by vomiting and defections (in certain cases). It is believed to percieve evil damege that has occurred. Tha Ayahuasca is a mixture of magical and sorcery, these esoteric circles own the jungle. The sorcerer Ayahuasquero is the curator of all evil that exists between myth and legend of the rainforest.

YACURUNA

Is a mythological god from the depths of the Amazon rivers and lakes. Beautiful and sensual natives were kidnapped by him drowned with pleasure, in the form of a beautiful man. He leads them to his home in the depths of the waters and they never return. According to amazon mythology, the Yacuruna is similar to the god Neptune from the greek mythology. His subjects are fish and aquatic reptiles sleeping at the bottom of the river. He never shuts his eyes.

Intresting album. It is not the kind of music I tend to post, I think it is a kind of minimal, downtempo, but I am not quite sure. They make a good game with sounds, that is what I like about it. And that it is different.
Interesante disco. No es el tipo de música que suelo postear, creo que es minimal, o downtempo, pero no estoy del todo segura. Hacen un bueno juego de sonidos, eso es lo que me gusta del album. Y que es diferente.
